President Julie Tan Appointed as New Taipei City Industrial Development Advisory Committee Member to Tackle Global Trade Challenges
In 2025, President Julie Tan was invited by the New Taipei City Government to serve as a member of the 114th New Taipei City Industrial Development Advisory Committee. On September 26, 2025, Mayor Hou You-Yi officially presented the appointment certificate. The committee brings together leaders from industry, government, academia, and research sectors to discuss and propose future directions and policies for the city’s industrial development.
Facing the severe challenges of global trade tensions and tariff barriers, Chairperson Tan will represent the voice of industry, working closely with the New Taipei City Government and enterprises to provide professional insights and help build a more resilient industrial ecosystem.
