The electronics industry is moving forward to a new environmental initiative, also known as the Halogen Free” initiative. This bans the use of halogenated materials in electronic equipments. The types of materials that contain halogen are bobbins, wire insulation, polymers and epoxies.

To identify that the LinCom component is halogen-free, we will add a suffix H”. For example, the LinkCom halogenated component LAN0066-50 will become
LAN0066-50H.

The LinkCom component will be Halogen Free by Q2 2009.
